Mivtzah Shnas Hashloishim

As you have probably have heard this is YSP’S 30th summer. In this spirit, the head staff came together and decided that it was imperative to create a program in which perpetual incentive could be given for going the extra mile in everything a bochur ought to be doing.

The program is called Mivtza Shnas Hashloishim.

Each Talmid has the opportunity every day of earning Bluteh. Bluteh is given out for various things throughout the day, and is called such in a euphemistic slight in de-valuing gelt.

Bi-weekly, there are Bluteh functions; a bochur may spend his Bluteh in order to gain access to these functions. Functions are not the only commodities “on sale” for Bluteh. There are a wide array of incentives, including Shnas Hashloishim Memorabilia and extra availabilities on trips.

The first function was met with a resounding success as deserving bochurim’s wits and temperaments were put on the line as they played “Who wants to be a Bluteh Gvir?”
