This year’s Grand Trip is turning out to be a video-guided one, as the Bochurim got settled back on the bus and we departed the Chabad center another clip played. This time informing the Talmidim of the schedule for the next few hours: The Sandy Springs Adventure Park is – apparently – the largest aerial rope course in North America, and has over 13 different safe, fun-filled, tree-climbing challenges.
For the next few hours the Talmidim could be spotted swinging from trees and zipping through the forests, while the staff threw bottles of water at them to keep them properly hydrated. The excitement in the trees was broken up only by the occasional stop at the snack buffet which was set up at the foot of some of the trees: tortilla chips, salsa, fruits and danishes, and of course drinks galore.
Get a POV look here.
The Talmidim are now famished and well worn out and on to their next destination, I am sure that many of them will soon be fast asleep, and with good reason too, there is yet quite a day ahead of us at the next stop. Details to follow.
